What types of documents can I upload, and how do I upload them?

The following document types are accepted:

  • Microsoft® Word® or similar word processing files (.doc, .docx, .rtf, .rtx, .odt)
  • PDF
  • Plain text (.txt)
  • Microsoft Excel® files (.xls, .xlsx) 
  • Graphics (.tiff, .tif, .jpeg, .jpg, .jpe, .png)
  • Video (.flv, .mov)

The system cannot process documents with signature boxes, watermarks, password fields, or other security features. Remove these features by printing and re-scanning the document.

You can provide requested documents four different ways. The first method is to upload the file from your computer by clicking Choose File. You can click Write [document type] to create a document using the system’s rich text editor. Some document types will allow you to provide a URL by clicking Link to
[document type].
Finally, you can upload a document you have used for a previous posting by clicking Use Previously Uploaded [document type].
