Curtis Overton

On Wednesday, July 26, 2017, Officers responded to the 3200 block of Camelot Boulevard in the Deep Creek section of the city at 11:12 p.m. and found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.

Curtis Overton, age 61, of the 1000 block of Sean Drive, was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he later died.

Mr. Overton was known to collect abandoned items left on the curb for trash pick-up. He was loading items into his yellow older model GMC Avalanche when he was shot multiple times.
