Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Gas & Plumbing Refund Policy

The permit holder may request a refund by submitting a Refund Request to the Department of Development and Permits stating the reason for the request.

Refund requests are subject to a $50 processing fee, which is deducted initially to determine if the remaining balance is over the minimum of $50. No refunds will be processed under the minimum of $50. No refunds will be processed under the minimum of $50 and no refunds are allowed on expired or closed permits. Not all fees are refundable under the various applicable Codes. (Example: Tech Fee, Plan Review Fee)

The percentage of allowable refund permitted is listed in the chart. Please note that no 100% refunds will be granted, and there will be no refunds of $50 or less.

Zoning Refund Policy

  • All refund requests shall be made in writing, shall specify the reason for the request and are subject to an administrative processing fee of $50. No refunds shall be issued for fees, costs, charges or expenses of $50 or less. Not all fees are refundable under the various applicable Codes.
