Campground Rules and Regulations
- Campsite check-in and registration begins at 2 p.m. at the camp store. Early check-in may be available if the site was not occupied the night before.
- Cabin check-in and registration begins at 3 p.m. at the camp store. Early check-in is not available.
- All campground reservations are to be made either in person at the campground office in Northwest River Park or online through the Reserve America website, and must be paid in full at time of reservation. Campsites and cabins will not be “held” pending payment. Credit card information may not be taken verbally by park staff.
- Identification is required at registration and check-in for all campsite and cabin rentals. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and must occupy the campsite or cabin.
- A specific campsite or cabin will be assigned during check-in and registration. Any changes must be approved by camp store staff prior to camp setup or move-in.
- All campers will be given a copy of the “Northwest River Park Camping Information and Regulations.”
- Campers will receive car passes for up to two cars. The campsite or cabin number and date of departure will be written on the front of the car pass, and the campground gate code will be written on the back. The car pass is required to be displayed in the car at all times while on park property. The gate code is not to be transferred or shared with others. Golf carts count toward renter's vehicle count.
- Camp store hours are as posted for the appropriate season.
- Night/late check-in is available for campsites with prior approval of the camp store staff if an advance reservation was made. Arrangements must be made with the camp store staff prior to the date of arrival for the code to the campground gate. Campers must provide identification to the staff at the camp store the next morning. Night/late check-in is not available for cabins. - The campground gate code will only be given to campers at check-in and registration. Persons wishing to see the campground may walk through. This precaution is in place for the protection of the campers and the facility. Exceptions can be made for vehicles displaying official handicapped vehicle license plate or hang tags and/or authorized by park staff. @(Model.BulletStyle == CivicPlus.Entities.Modules.Layout.Enums.BulletStyle.Decimal ? - Campers must vacate the campground by 12 p.m.
- Late check-out for campsites may be available for a $10.00 fee. Requests for late check-out must be made to camp store staff prior to 12 p.m. and approvals are based on availability. Campsites and cabins must vacated no later than 4 p.m. Late check-out is not available for cabins.
- Personal property remaining on a campsite or in a cabin that has not been reserved or paid for will be removed by park staff after 24 hours and will be kept in storage for 14 days and then discarded if not claimed.
- Campers and recreational vehicles left on-site unpaid and unattended for over 48 hours will be towed at owner’s expense and risk. @(Model.BulletStyle == CivicPlus.Entities.Modules.Layout.Enums.BulletStyle.Decimal ? "ol" : "ul")>
- Two sleeping units are permitted per campsite: one trailer/RV and one tent; or two tents.
- Campsite and cabin rentals are limited to 14 nights in a 30-day period. Long term camping is not permitted.
- Sleeping at a campsite without a tent or hammock, or in a vehicle not designed for camping, is prohibited.
- Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Visitors must leave the campground and park by 11 p.m.
- Campers are restricted to the campground area after sunset unless attending an official park program.
- Occupancy is limited to a maximum of six people per campsite and five people (four adults and one child under five years old) per cabin.
- Group sites will accommodate groups of up to ten people with no more than five, two-person tents or two large tents.

- Possession of a bow and arrow, crossbow, air gun, or sling-shot is prohibited.
- Fireworks, including sparklers, are prohibited.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Swimming is prohibited.
- Clotheslines must be removed daily at sunset.
- All game equipment must be removed and stored after play is completed.

- Pets are permitted in the campground area if leashed or tethered.
- Pets are not permitted in cabins, buildings, or boats.
- All droppings from your pet must be picked up.
- Pets are not to be left unattended at any time.
- Pet owners are responsible for pet behavior. Aggressive behavior or excessive barking may result in expulsion from campground without refund. @(Model.BulletStyle == CivicPlus.Entities.Modules.Layout.Enums.BulletStyle.Decimal ? "ol" : "ul")>
- Fires are restricted to the fire ring.
- Fires must be under observation and under control at all times.
- Do not burn trash or any material which can carry sparks aloft.
- The cutting of any tree, dead or alive is prohibited.

- Water faucets are for obtaining water for your campsite.
- Washing of vehicles, dishes, clothes, or your person at the faucet is prohibited.

- All refuse and garbage are to be placed in the dumpster located at the dump station near the entrance to the camping area.
- All campsites are to be kept clean and presentable during occupancy and must be clean with all trash removed upon check-out.

- No more than two vehicles per site. Golf carts count as one vehicle. There is overflow parking outside of the campground in the day use area.
- All vehicles, RVs and trailers must be backed into the campsite unless using a pull-through site.

- A 15-mph speed limit is enforced throughout the park.
- Unlicensed motorcycles, including scooters and mopeds, may not be driven in the campground area. ATV’s are not permitted.
- Bicycles are permitted on the gravel/paved roads only.
- Golf carts are to be operated by licensed drivers only to and from the camp store and count as one vehicle out of the 2-vehicle per site limit. @(Model.BulletStyle == CivicPlus.Entities.Modules.Layout.Enums.BulletStyle.Decimal ? "ol" : "ul")>
- May be made during the calendar year of the rental.
- Requires the stay to be paid in full on Reserve America, including a non-refundable deposit of the first night’s stay, plus the Reserve America fee.
- Deposit may be transferred, to available dates, within the calendar camping season if done two days prior to check-in date.
- Holiday weekends require a two consecutive night reservation minimum. Walk-ins may come for one night if there are sites available.

- The gate code is only to be given to campers or guest visitors of campers. Unescorted persons are not permitted to enter and drive through the campground unless displaying official handicapped vehicle license plate or hang tags and/or authorized by park staff. Persons wishing to see the campground may walk through. - Refund requests for campers leaving early must either make the request by e-mail or in writing to the Parks Manager requesting a refund and stating the reason why.
- Cancelation of rentals within seven calendar days or less of reservation is not permitted (no refunds).
- Rescheduling of rentals within two calendar days or less of reservation is not permitted (no refunds).
- Rescheduled reservations are subject to availability (rescheduling fee may be charged).
- The first night’s deposit is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for the request.
- Refunds are usually not granted for inclement weather. In cases of extreme inclement weather, any requests for partial credit must be submitted in writing to the Parks Manager within 48 hours after the event. @(Model.BulletStyle == CivicPlus.Entities.Modules.Layout.Enums.BulletStyle.Decimal ?
