Vendor Application Information

Applications for 2023 are currently closed and there is not a wait list. Crafter applications for the 2023 Craft Show were accepted March 1 - July 31, 2023.


Crafter Acceptance Notifications

Applicants will receive notification by email (preferred method) or U.S. Postal Service (USPS) mail on or before August 31 indicating if they have been selected for the show. Acceptance fees must be received by September 30. Alternates will be notified on or around October 8.

Crafter Fees

Crafters must include an Application Fee only when submitting their application.

Once you submit your application online, a confirmation screen will appear with a link to pay your Application Fee online or you may return here to the Holiday Craft Show web page and select the link under Steps to Apply: Number 1. See instructions under Steps to Apply: Number 2 and Number 3 regarding application fee payments for mail-in or in-person applications.

Acceptance Fees are payable after you have been notified of placement. If accepted as a vendor, you will receive a letter with instructions regarding payment of the Acceptance Fee.

Crafter Application Fee

Early Bird Application Fee: March 1 to 31, postmarked: $10

Regular Application Fee: April 1 to May 31, postmarked: $15

Late Application Fee: June 1 to July 31, postmarked: $25

Crafter Acceptance Fees

(not due until after Crafter has received acceptance notification)

Resident: $125

Non-Resident: $135

Electrical Access: plus $60 per outlet (If available. Spaces with electrical access are limited.)

Photos

Photos must be submitted with the application to complete the application process. Please submit a minimum of 3 photos and a maximum of 5. Your application will not be reviewed or processed without photos.

The application contains information regarding fees, deadlines and requirements. There are three ways vendors can apply: Online, by mail or in person.

Steps to Apply

1. Online Application

Note: You are required to upload a minimum of 3 photos (maximum of 5) of your crafts with your application to complete your application process. Applications will not be reviewed or processed without photos.

  • Pay the Application Fee online; and
  • Submit the Online Application Form

2. Mail

Fill out the application, print it out and mail it in with payment. Make checks payable to "City of Chesapeake Treasurer's Office." Don't forget to email a minimum of 3 photos (maximum of 5) of your crafts! Include prints with your application when you mail it in or email your photos to Parks, Recreation and Tourism. If emailing photos, please include your name, business name and phone number in the email. Applications will not be reviewed or processed without photos.

3. In Person

Fill out the application, print it out and drop it off in an envelope with payment by check, or come in and pay by check, cash or credit card. Make checks payable to "City of Chesapeake Treasurer's Office." Don't forget to include a minimum of 3 photos (maximum of 5) of your crafts! Include prints with your application when you drop it off or email your photos to Parks, Recreation and Tourism. If emailing photos, please include your name, business name and phone number in the email. Applications will not be reviewed or processed without photos.
