This outdoor fitness course, located at Cornland Park and adjacent to Fire Station 13, is no standard fitness course. The features include a spider wall, overhead elements and various agility apparatuses. Installed in 2021, the course is surrounded by a small walking track and is used by the public and the Fire and Police Departments for their training exercises.
The course is named after Retired Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician, Jeffrey (Jeff) William Kelleher, who passed away in 2016. Jeff Kelleher served citizens with pride and honor during his tenure with the City. He had a lasting impact on those he worked with and many others he touched in the community. He was an inspiration to many of his coworkers and friends as he faced life challengers with dignity and courage. He was a mentor to at-risk youth in the Adventure Intervention Mentor (AIM) Program and was active in various community programs, including serving as a youth soccer coach.
