Effective July 1, 2013, per SB 1008, all individuals or groups requesting twenty-five (25) or more voter registration applications from the Department of Elections (DOE), the City of Chesapeake Voter Registrar's Office or any other local voter registration office must register and receive DOE-certified training for conducting voter registration drives.

After successful completion of the training you may request up to 200 voter registration applications from the Chesapeake Voter Registration Office. If additional applications are needed, they can be requested directly from the Department of Elections.
