Disposing of waste is a hazardous job. For the safety of our workers, dispose of sharp and pointed objects properly. Nails, broken glass, needles, ammunition and caustic materials pose a risk to our employees, as well to the general public, when placed at the curb.
Use common sense and be mindful of precautions when disposing of waste.
Waste collection trucks and automated containers can be a source of amazement to children. Refuse truck drivers are ever mindful of neighborhood children playing near collection areas, but are difficult to sometimes see. Parents and adults should also be alert on collection days when waste disposal trucks and trash containers are out.
