ROAD CLOSURE CONTINUES ON GILMERTON BRIDGE
| AFFECTED AREAS: | Gilmerton Bridge |
| DATES: | UPDATE: The Bridge will remain Closed to Vehicle Traffic until 8:30 p.m. tonight. If repairs are not completed at that time the bridge will be reopened to vehicles and then closed again on Saturday, August 15 from 6:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon. No water vessels are permitted to pass through the bridge until repairs are completed. |
| INFORMATION: | Due to an accident involving a private tug boat on August 13, the Gilmerton Bridge will be closed to motorists and waterway traffic for emergency repairs to the west fender system. Detour signs will be posted for motorists. |
