CITY OFFICES CLOSED IN OBSERVANCE OF LABOR DAY
CHESAPEAKE- All City of Chesapeake offices, courts and community centers will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 1.
Chesapeake public libraries will be closed on both Sunday, August 31, and Monday, September 1. Library book drops will remain open for the return of materials.
Residents whose trash is normally collected on Monday will have their pick-up on Wednesday, September 3. Residents with refuse or bulk waste questions should call the Customer Contact Center at 382-CITY during normal business hours, or log on to CityOfChesapeake.net.
All offices and facilities will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 2. For additional information, please call the Public Communications Department at 382-6241.
