NEW TRAFFIC PATTERNS ON GEORGE WASHINGTON HIGHWAY OVERPASS
| AFFECTED AREA: | George Washington Highway (Route 17 Business), between Military Highway and the I-64 interchange. |
| DATES: | Friday, February 29 - Tuesday, March 4 |
| INFORMATION: | Motorists should expect new traffic patterns as the two lanes of traffic on George Washington Highway are shifted onto the recently repaired eastern half of the bridge over the Norfolk Southern railroad. The transfer of traffic will be completed over the four day period, so motorists should remain alert to the changing traffic patterns during the shift. Minor delays should be anticipated. Beware of loose gravel, rough road, heavy equipment, reduced lane widths, and slow moving trucks and equipment. |
