CITY OFFICES CLOSE IN OBSERVANCE OF HOLIDAYS

CHESAPEAKE – Chesapeake City government offices, courts, public libraries and community centers will follow modified schedules in observance of the Lee-Jackson Day and Martin Luther King, Jr. holidays.

OPERATING SCHEDULE CHANGES

Friday, January 18	All Facilities	CLOSED
Monday, January 21	All Facilities	CLOSED

Chesapeake Public Libraries and Chesapeake Community Centers will be OPEN regular hours on Saturday and Sunday, January 19 and 20. Library book drops will remain open at all times for the return of materials.

All City government offices, courts, libraries and community centers will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, January 22.

TRASH COLLECTION DATE CHANGES

Friday, January 18	Normal Collection Schedule
Monday, January 21	Pick-up will be on Wednesday, Jan. 23
