CITY MODIFIES HOURS IN OBSERVANCE OF VETERANS DAY
CHESAPEAKE –- Chesapeake City government offices, courts, public libraries and community centers will follow modified operating schedules in observance of Veterans Day. The schedules are as follows:
| City Offices | CLOSED | Monday, November 12 |
| Courts | CLOSED | Monday, November 12 |
| Libraries | CLOSED | Sunday, November 11 |
| Monday, November 12 | ||
| Community Centers | OPEN | Monday, November 12 |
| 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. |
Normal operating schedules will resume on Tuesday, November 13. Library book drops will remain open throughout the period for the return of materials.
Residents whose trash is regularly collected on Monday will have their collection on Wednesday, November 14.
