HOUSE COMMITTEE SCHEDULES PUBLIC HEARING
CHESAPEAKE - The Virginia General Assembly House Committee on Counties, Cities and Towns will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 26, at 10:00 a.m., in the Chesapeake City Council Chamber.
The first in a series of regional public hearings scheduled for this summer, the House Committee wants to gain additional input on issues related to growth. The Senate Local Government Committee has also been invited to participate. At the conclusion of the public hearing, legislators and elected officials will hold a working lunch session.
