The Treasurer's office is responsible for collecting personal property and real estate taxes, stormwater fees, and business license fees as well as for issuing animal licenses and vehicle decals. Alternative payment programs such as Easy Pay (automatic debit program), credit cards and debit cards are available to help citizens pay their taxes. In addition to collecting taxes the Treasurer collects other delinquent fees due the City such as delinquent library fines, emergency medical services fees and delinquent terminated water accounts.

The Treasurer's office is also responsible for investing the city's money.
