Public Hearing - Wednesday, September 18, 2008:
The purpose of the Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 18, 2008, at Great Bridge Primary School was to receive public input on the proposed bridge and roadway improvements along the Dominion Boulevard corridor, from Oak Grove Connector (Route 168) to U. S. Route 17.
Proposed improvements include the replacement of the existing Steel Bridge with a tolled high-rise fixed bridge, roadway widening, and intersection upgrades. The meeting provided an opportunity for any individual, association, citizens’ group, or governmental agency to offer comments for the project record. Exhibits were provided for review and City representatives and design consultants were present to answer questions.
The following items were available at the Public Hearing:
- Design plan sheets
- Information regarding tentative project scheduling
