Chesapeake Animal Control Unit

Volunteer Orientation

Chesapeake Animal Control invites animal lovers to attend a Volunteer Orientation Meeting on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the Animal Control Shelter located at 3807 Cook Blvd. in the Cavalier Industrial Park.

Animal Control is looking for volunteers to assist in helping homeless animals. Volunteers at least 16 years old and older are needed to fill such positions as drivers, office assistants, special events assistants, and newsletter editor. Requirements and qualifications will be discussed at the meeting and applications will be available.
