The City of Chesapeake is commencing a review and update of the Forward Chesapeake 2026 Comprehensive Plan, which was adopted by City Council on March 9, 2005. This new initiative is being called "Moving Forward - Chesapeake 2030." The Comprehensive Plan serves as a blueprint to guide the City's future growth and land use, and we need your help setting the City's vision and goals to guide development over the next twenty years!

As the Moving Forward - Chesapeake 2030 process gets underway, it is very important that we gather input from Chesapeake citizens as to what is working well and perhaps not so well with regard to the Comprehensive Plan's various land use, growth management and development policies.
