Quotes from 2009 Participants
What a wonderful experience!
I was a little anxious about the unknown, but the event was so remarkably well executed, any doubts soon faded. From the outfitters, to the caterers, to the firemen and other volunteers, everything was exceptionally well planned. My son (11) and I had a terrific experience. Thank you...
We'll see you next year,
Mike
Dear City of Chesapeake --
WOW - this was our first "Paddle for the Border." My daughter and I had a blast. It was so well-organized; and the volunteers were invaluable to us!!
Thanks,
Jackie
I would like to thank your department for the wonderful experience I had during the 2009 Paddle for the Border. I have never experience hospitality like I did with this event. From the ladies with the biscuits, the "green carpet treatment" at the launch, to the VIP treatment when the paddle was completed, the event was great. Thank you for sponsoring and organizing such a great event.
Chuck
