Master Plan

The Department of Parks and Recreation has developed a Master Plan "A Window Into The Year 2010 ... A Plan For Parks & Recreation". This plan was adopted by Chesapeake City Council on October 15, 1991.

The reader will find an inventory of recreation facilities, standards by which recreation needs are determined, listings of current and projected needs, and our plan to meet those needs.

You may get a copy of the Master Plan from any Chesapeake community center, Northwest River Park, the Senior Citizens Center or the main office at 112 Mann Drive.
