Park even has an activity building with heat and A/C
for rent by your company or group.
Beautiful Northwest River Park is also the backdrop
for several weddings each year.
So whether you are having a wedding and need someplace to hold the reception; need a place for a shower or birthday party. Or, need a place for your family reunion. Whatever the reason, the Parks and Recreation Department has facilities that residents and nonresidents can rent for their events and gatherings.

Chesapeake City Park Rental Application/Policy (Sections)
Special Event Permit
Code 50-51 requires the issuance of a permit for the use of any city park for any non-city sponsored event. All Special Event Applications must be submitted at least 30 days in advance to:
