Deep Creek Park

The Project consists of a 60 acre park including 4 baseball fields, 4 multipurpose fields, a restroom facility, playground, picnic area, walking trails and related facilities. Some playing fields include lights and irrigation systems. Significant earthmoving and storm drainage facilities are required. The main entry driveway is asphalt paved, and large parking areas contain both asphalt and gravel paving.

UPDATE:

The Parks and Recreation Department has a 230-acre park in Deep Creek that City Council approved funds to develop phase I of the park. The project was funded in the FY 2008/2009 Capital Improvement Budget for $4,836,361. DC Park will include the introduction of four multi-purpose fields, as well as four baseball fields. Notice to proceed was issued to the contractor (Vico Construction) on June 6, 2010 and the project will continue over the next 12 months.
