Welcome to CFD STATION 14
"Greenbrier"

Chesapeake Fire Dept. patch1200 Volvo Parkway
Chesapeake, Va. 23320

Station 14 was built in 1988 in the Greenbrier section of the City. The Station was designed to blend in well with the surrounding community, and from the outside, may look like a residential home with three large bay doors. This particular building also represents a partnership between the Fire Department and the Police Department. The structure actually houses a Fire Station on one side, and a Police Precinct on the other.

The 18 Firefighters assigned to Station 14 proudly serve the City with Engine 14 and Medic 14. Engine 14 is an Advanced Life Support Engine, capable of supplying 1,500 gallons per minute of water for fire suppression activities. Engine 14 also carries one of the City’s few Thermal Imaging Cameras, which assist firefighters with seeing through smoke to locate people trapped in fires. Medic 14 is an Advanced Life Support Transport Unit that was placed into service in January 2004. The unit has been instrumental in improving response times in the northern portions of the City, while providing excellent patient care to those in need of emergency medical assistance.
