Holly Cove Community Day

The Chesapeake Council on Youth Services (CCOYS) Community Assessment and Planning Partnership (CAPP) presented the Holly Cove Community Day on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Southwestern Park on Airline Boulevard.

The event provided the community a day with positive, alternative activities. Representatives from city departments and community organizations answered questions and provided information on alternative, positive activities, educational, and employment opportunities for youth and families within the community. 

The event was sponsored by the Chesapeake Commission on Substance Abuse (CCOSA) and Neighborhood Coordination, and supported by Holly Cove Civic League.
