Audit Services

The Audit Services Department currently conducts performance, financial, and special audits of City departments and functions on a selected basis to determine if City policies, regulations, and control procedures are functioning as intended, and if City services are being provided in an economical, efficient, and effective manner. In addition, the department provides technical assistance/consultation services to other departments. The department also conducts semiannual reviews of selected proprietary funds; assists the City's external auditors with their financial annual audit, and provides assistance to other audit and investigative entities as necessary.
