Check and Respond Everyday (CARE)

CARE is a twenty-four hour computerized phone service that will call the homes of elderly and handicapped up to three times a day to check up on them. After the resident answers the call, the system will identify itself and prompt the resident to press 1 if everything is fine and 2 if an alert number needs to be notified. This service is offered free of charge to residents of Chesapeake. Contact the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office. 382-8824.
