NEW CONSTRUCTION
Applicant Responsibilities

Surveyed Site Plan with proposed buildings, structure(s) indicated as well as on-site parking as needed.

Front and Side Elevations drawn to scale with architectural details enlarged where subject to public view from a paved public street.

Samples, photographs, and/or brochures of siding, brick type, roof shingles, paint chips, doors and windows, ornamentation, and other exterior materials

Arrangement of proposed exterior lighting.

Proposed signs with appropriate detail as to character and location

Clear photographs of adjoining and opposite properties.

One original and ten copies of all written materials and
one sample of all proposed materials.
One original photograph of the entire structure and
one original photograph of each proposed work area.
Nine copies of each original photograph.
Application Deadline
Monday prior to the 2nd Thursday of the month by 5 p.m.
Chesapeake Architectural and Review Board Hearings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
