What is a Planned Unit Development Deviation?

A Planned Unit Development Deviation is required for relief from the literal terms of approved Planned Unit Development Criteria for properties located within a Planned Unit Development. Consideration for a deviation can be processed as part of a required preliminary site plan or subdivision plan review or as a separate request.

 

Application Deadline

Monday prior to the 2nd Wednesday of the month by 5 p.m.

Planning Commission Public Hearings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Applicant Responsibilities

  1. A complete PUD Deviation application form.
    The original and two (2) copies of the complete PUD Deviation application, with original signatures on one copy, including all required development information
  2. Legal Description and common street address of the property (page 3)
  3. Payment of Filing Fee
  4. Sign Posting (supplied by the Planning Department) two Wednesdays prior to the Planning Commission Public Hearing, Sign Fees
  5. Advertising Fees will be billed separately (average cost is $100 per advertisement, with a minimum of four (4) advertisements required)
  6. Site Plan or Plat of the proposed development, drawn to scale
    Submit 30 copies, plus 2 copies reduced to 11” by 17” paper, plus 2 copies reduced to 8 ½” by 11” paper
