Chesapeake Jubilee is Right Around the Corner
The annual Chesapeake Jubilee will take place at Chesapeake City Park from Thursday, May 15 through Sunday, May 18th. This major event in Chesapeake has stage entertainment featuring The Four Tops, Phil Vassar, The Gin Blossoms & more.
There is a 4-H livestock show and sale, rides, crafts, food, and fireworks!

Transportation Town Hall Meeting
The Transportation Town Hall Meeting, which took place on Tuesday, April 29th, was designed to allow citizens in Chesapeake to speak and present their ideas to members of the Virginia General Assembly regarding the transportation needs in our region.
Delegate John Cosgrove, along with other Senators and Delegates representing the City held this meeting in City Hall Council Chambers.
Great Bridge Business District Workshop
Citizens are invited to this workshop to help develop design guidelines for the Great Bridge Village area.
Workshop will focus exclusively on the Great Bridge Business District which is the area south of the A&C Canal through approximately the 300 block of S. Battlefield Blvd.

The City of Chesapeake’s Comprehensive Plan for Children and Youth Work Group is conducting a survey to assess parents' and guardians' needs related to after-school and out-of-school care in the City.
The survey will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete and your responses are confidential.
Your input is essential in the City’s efforts to enhance the quality of life for our young people.

Traffic Cams Now Available Online
The Public Works Dept. has four traffic cameras deployed at critical locations in the Greenbrier area where high traffic demand occurs as well as two at the Chesapeake Expressway toll booths capturing northbound and southbound traffic flow.
