Assistance

Many pharmaceutical companies provide medications at no cost to those who
meet specific financial qualifications. The following list is only a sample
of companies and medications available through what they call “Indigent Medication
Programs”. Please check with your case manager or physician on any specific
medications you may be prescribed. You can obtain a copy of Directory of Prescription
Drug Patient Assistance Programs through PhRMA (Pharamceutical Research and

(This is an organization that was established by volunteers
dedicated to alleviateing the plight of an ever increasing number of patients
who can't afford their prescnption. Decisions on who is eligible are made
by the individual medication programs. Applicants must meet all requirements
including that they have no prescription coverage for outpatient prescriptions,
their income is at a level which causes hardship, and they do not qualify
for a government program i.e Medicaid. There is a $5.00 processing fee
for each prescription.)
